Serenity

Female - Beagle Shepherd [Mix]

Just look at this beautiful and well-behaved older girl. Serenity has certainly earned her name; she is calm, loves being petted, and enjoys simply relaxing by her people. Serenity does not seek out attention from other dogs and much prefers human contact; she would be happiest as an only dog. This lovely lady is sure to bring happiness to her new home.

River

Female - Black Labrador Retriever

Boy do I have a story to tell! See, many years ago I was adopted from Anderson Animal Shelter and thought that I had a permanent home of my own. Then just last week some kind people found me floating down the Des Plaines River; that must have been quite a sight! Well, they brought me to an animal clinic near where I was found and the nice people at the clinic learned that I was microchipped to Anderson. So now I’m back and ready for a family that will truly provide me with a permanent home for the rest of my life. Aside from being a little shy (can you blame me?), I’m a perfect girl…extremely sweet, calm, and good with other dogs. So, can you throw me a life raft and give me a forever home?

Sam

Male - Black Labrador Retriever Pointer [Mix]

Sam is a very handsome and distinguished older lab/pointer mix who is looking for a new forever
home. He likes squeak toys but seems to not understand what a tennis ball is. He is good with
other dogs and would like a comfortable home to lounge around in. He is very calm and would do
well in a calm environment.
